What Planscape Does: Planscape is a free decision support tool built to maximize wildfire resilience by helping regional planners across the USA prioritize landscape treatments to mitigate wildfire risk, maximize ecological benefits, and help landscapes adapt to climate change.

Who We're Building For: Planscape serves a broad range of collaborative decision-makers responsible for land and resource management, from state-level strategists to local resource managers. Our users prioritize where to treat the landscape and determine how to implement treatments.

Planscape Cooperative: Planscape is an open–science collaboration of the USDA Forest Service, University of California, Google.org, Spatial Informatics Group, American Forests, ILTF, and the California Natural Resources Agency, . No commercial entity owns or profits from Planscape. We welcome new collaborators and would love to hear from anyone who wants to get involved.

Open Science: We’re open science. Our work is transparent, inclusive, democratic and accessible. Planscape is designed, funded and developed collaboratively.
